What your favorite movies say about you

My life is like a dream; sometimes it is good, at other times...it is a terrible nightmare. I feel I have been living in an illusion, a dream world that is not real...and that everything that has possibly happened in my life did not happen. I see my life as a war between good and evil, between the two opposing forces of humanity, and the struggle to accept the dual nature of humanity, of myself, and of my fellow man. It is a constant, perpetual war for perpetual peace. It is a fight that has no end...and that which has many paradigm shifts. It is a life full of joys and horrors...and its own sacred meaning.

My life is also like a time loop. I am in a time machine, forced to repeat the same pointless pattern of the space-time continuum in the vain hope and in all sincerity, that someday, it will end, and that I can find my peace of mind with myself and who I am.

What are the movies I am talking about that best describes my life and about myself? Firstly, The Matrix by the Wachowski brothers is one of the best film trilogies I have ever seen. It is about the need for humanity to wake up from its illusions of believing that this world is allegedly, "real." It shows a world where machines rule, and where humans are slaves to Artificial Intelligence. It is a battle to free humanity from the illusion, at both a spiritual and physical level. The question is; would you take the red pill or the blue pill? This film deeply reflects my life because it reveals my passion for philosophy, psychology...and politics. Included - is personal investigation, spirituality, and a very inquisitive nature (much like Neo, I chose the Red Pill). I am a seeker of Truth, much like Neo, and I have - like Neo, Morpheus and Trinity, descended down the rabbit hole. This is clearly blatant in the fact that I am not afraid to show people that in my desire for Truth, I am more than willing to break a few norms and unquestioned doctrines along the way. Yes, I am into conspiracies in case you are wondering, and I am proud of it.

Secondly, it is Star Wars and its entire saga and universe. I love Star Wars, but my favorite character is Anakin Skywalker, as the good guy who was corrupted by darkness, only to be saved by his son 23 years later. As an after note - why would Lucas choose 23? What is it with that number anyways? Also, in the saga, we discover that between the discovery of Anakin Skywalker and the beginning of the Clone Wars, there is a 13
