Which are the best web browsers?

Web browsers are the heart of surfing the internet. We would not be where we are now if it were not for web browsers. In this day and age, we are not isolated to only one browser; the one that comes with your computer. We have choices. There is more today than there was years ago or even five years ago. Today, we have choices between internet explorer, Mozilla, safari, chrome and many more. Let take a look at some of your choices.

Internet explorer

This is what comes with the windows operating system. Most people will start and use this one. For some, they may not realize that there are other web browsers out there. One of the biggest issues with internet explorer is that it does not always take advantage of some of the advanced features that some of the other browsers take advantage of.

Mozilla Firefox

This is the browser that a lot of people are using these days. It is like any other browser. What is really nice about this browser is that you can add addons to your browsers. Mozilla has a whole site of addons you can add to your browser. Do you want something to connect to twitter, that is available there.

Flock

Flock is another browser that you can use. Flock is based off of Mozilla but is more a social networking type of browser. You can download any Mozilla addons. It works with this browser.

Chrome

This one has not been out there too long. This is a creation of google. This is very minimalistic. You can add addons, but it is more of manual installations to get it work. You have to know where to edit in the files.

Opera

This is another browser out there. This one may have been the first browser to actually initiate widgets or addons to browsers. It is hard to say which one had started it first. The one thing about this browser is that the java script compatibility is not there.

Safari

Safari is another browser that you can use to surf the net. Safari used to be only for apple's, but not it is available for windows. The browser is really not that bad. If you are the person whom uses addons like on internet explorer or Mozilla, this is what they lack. There are no browser addons. Safari is stable though.

There are also many other browsers out there. It is just a matter of finding them. What you will find is that they are based off of these except for flock which is based off of Mozilla. What one person may say is good, may not be for another. There really are choices.
