Lady Warrior
In your fashion, Lady Warrior, all your battles were fought.
Other lives were ransomed and other freedoms bought
Oh, your flag flew so proudly, none other flew higher.
Your battle light burned brightly, none had more fire.
Honor bound, Lady Warrior, from a time that is long gone
You never found the freedom to give it up and move on.
Only in your sanctuary, in your heart's dreaming place,
You can go so secretly to hide from history's cruel face.
Lady Warrior, still a prisoner in a prison without bars.
Deeply your wounds cut you, yet left you with no scars,
No souvenir of silent anguish to prove the battle was real.
And a wound left open and bleeding, even time cannot heal.

he seems a simple fleck of dust in the past
He's different
he stands out from the others.

On a battle field of flowers
I am a rose amongst many
Fighting a war of survival
Weeds will march upon my ground

Calls spirits clothed in golden hue.

Whispering in the ever present dusk
My pale skin shines like crystal in the soft starlight
Silky hair glows smooth as glass
A warrior...
To fight for what is just and true.
A warrior...
To stand as a hero among the people.
A warrior...
To face death
