There's a river that keep rising in this heart of mine
and that river keeps rising with each tear I cry.
Once you told me that you loved me
but that was just a lie, now that river keeps rising with each tear I cry.
There's a wild fire that is burning across this heart of mine
and the flames grow larger with the sounds of your goodbyes,
So this river that was rising will quench the flame so high
and my heart will remember the pain of your lies.

years of resentment came flooding to the surface of
nightmares lived out so long ago.

What To Do Now

Take my arm and guide me quietly
Along a warm and sandy beach
To a place where I can be myself
And be far beyond
