The way I finished his sentences before he spoke
My kiss, the way we touched, the passion it evoked
Loving him completely, his mistakes, I ignored
Crescendos of erotic episodes, a flawless musical score
Our laughter, private, attached to each other's secrets
My availability for him, the proverbial revolving door
He took me granted, I allowed numerous indiscretions
I loved him like no other, he became my obsession
My departure is inevitable, leaving is my destiny.....
When years pass, I wonder endlessly,
When I'm gone, will he ever miss me?
