SPEAK OR BE SPOKEN FOR
Is excellence attainable in what one aims to say
And can one speak his mind with self control
Determination,Courage,Observing all the rules
A smattering of talent mingled in
For a man who doubts his stature
Will cultivate his ego,put up barriers, and cajole
To fool himself, and compensate his failure to begin

Will integrity be vanquished by an empty vessels charm

Fulfilling aimless needs to spout a view
Distorting careful forethought
Denying reasoned comment in one elaborate con
Can captivate and audience by in-citation
Only quiet afterthoughts construe
That little was accomplished, and the victor is the one who drivels on

Does unrestrained self confidence if channeled through a voice
Provide a means by which you can impress
Not tied by common logic
Unshackled from the need for reasoned view
Confuses all who care to listen
Much is said, but more is less
Will free his own frustrations, indoctrinate, and pass them on to you

Far better for a speaker when daunted by the task
To speak out loud with clarity of mind
It may not gain consensus,as often is the case
Never look for thunderous applause
Prepare yourself for mixed opinion
Yours and theirs are not combined
Pride yourself, the words you speak from heart and soul, are YOURS
