Butterfly Song

To a girly place
With blue butterflies.

Paint rainbow skies
And children's eyes.
Jesus please let me see
What used to be.

Let the moon and the skies
And the sparkle in his eyes
And the foam in the sea
And the toothy glim of glee
Remind me of me
And the way our love can be
When he's here with me.

From this room tonight.
From this bruising face
Humming with my eyes shut tight

Tears pouring from his eyes
