Your clothing choices are not the only element that can have a dramatic influence on your overall appearance. Accessories can play a large role in helping to create a proportional look. If you are a large breasted woman, the right accessories can be used to draw attention to your lower half, whilst minimizing the appearance of your upper body.

Top accessories that flatter women with large breasts:

Jewelry

When it comes to selecting jewelry to flatter your figure type, you want to steer clear of feature necklaces and big, dangly earrings. These draw the focus to your upper body and this inevitably highlights your chest. In addition long necklaces don't tend to sit flush over your bust line. Instead you want to select jewelry pieces that draw attention to the lower half of your body, so have fun with chunky bangles and bracelets, or cocktail rings. When your arms hang by your side, these accessories will add interest to your slimmer hip region.

Shoes

If your large breasts make your upper body looks proportionally shorter then your legs, you might like to choose footwear that creates interest in the leg region. Feel free to play around with straps around the feet and ankles. However, if you want to look longer and leaner overall, you should stick to shoes that elongate like; pointy toes, sling backs and deep toe cleavage styles.

Handbags

Make sure you select a handbag that ends around your hips. Higher cut bags will only add bulk to your fuller area. Always avoid tucking a clutch purse under your arm because this will add width through your fullest area.

Scarves

As you may be aware when it comes to dressing a large bust line, open necklines are much more flattering then closed in styles. Therefore, it is imperative that you avoid tying scarves high and tight at the neck. Also try to avoid selecting chunky scarves. Look for long, skinny scarves that you can simply wear open to help lengthen your upper body. Alternatively try tying them below the bust.

Other accessories

Assuming you have tiny hips, a low slung belt will look great on you. It draws the eye to your slimmer point, effectively taking the attention away from the fullness of your bust. A supportive bra is another accessory that can make the world of difference to your proportions. Minimizer bras can help shrink the appearance of your bust line by up to a cup size. It is important to make sure that the center of your bust sits directly halfway between your shoulder and waist. When your breasts hang lower they shorten and widen your upper body which creates a disportionate appearance.
