Distraction
I sit here
trying to write poetry,
the elf shuffle board game
plays in front of me.
The elves fart
make snide remarks,
fall off the end of the ship
get eaten by a shark.
Santa grabs them
by their thongs,
slingshots them down the ship deck
that looks totally wring.
All in bare feet
some have hairy backs,
they should be ashamed of themselves
and hide their bare cracks.
