-Disposable Camera-
Times forever circling,
Decades bringing revolution
For my eyes see the change
Yet I ignore the evolution
Of a mind frozen in time.
Memories as photographs
Dancing in my head.
The pictures never moving
Stillness like the dead,
Capturing unforgotten laughs.
I play them back inside
In an empty matinee,
Single seat reserved
Reflections of a day,
Relived over and over.
Reminders of the past
Blinks of an eye,
A single snap to last
Flashed when you die,
Forever frozen in time.
