Be Positive and Not Negative

I was thinking about the struggles in my life as I was walking down the hall at work

When the Lord showed me my husband's loving face and told me that he is not a jerk.

I had to smile for several reasons, as I accepted the Lord's gentle correction.

I knew that He was rightly so in telling me that as I let Him know in acclamation.

I knew that His word told us to think on the positive and not the negative.

I knew that I hadn't done too good a job at that in fact sometimes I've been argumentative.

I told the Lord that day that I would try and do a better job at thinking on the positive.

So in order to accomplish that which the Lord had instructed I thought on another alternative.

I began thinking back on the reasons that I fell in love in the first place.

When the Lord said write it down, all of the reasons think back and trace.

So as I began to do that the reasons came one after the other.

I want to write them all now and dedicate them to my lifetime lover.

My husband, my friend and my lover what first drew me to you was your good looking body.

Just saying that out loud makes me feel a little bit naughty.

Not to worry love you have more going for you than just that.

Oh, yes you have way more than your stats to look at.

I love they way you never complain or whine.

You're a hard worker, and hate to have idle hands, doing something busy all the time.

I love the way that you truly like to help with house work not thinking it was beneath you.

That my dear is a rare and treasured commodity than has found rarely in a few.

I love the way that you laugh, with your whole heart, a contagious laugh.

The way your eyes light up and crinkle when your happy is a real craft.

I love the way you have shown me a love that I have never known before.

I love the way you used laugh chasing me, to tackle me to the floor.

I love all of the silly fun things we used to do together, others might find lame.

But I wouldn't take nothing for all of those memories, no amount of treasures or fame.

I love your gentle ways, especially when you would doctor my hurts. And boo boo's.

I love the way you held me in the beginning not expecting nothing, most would have thought you coo coo.

I love the way you sat up all night writing me a song.

You're the romantic soul I waited for so long.

I love how excited you were when you woke me up to sing it.

I will treasure that moment always and be gad that we met.

You have so many special qualities that are stored within my heart,

Causing me to go head over heels and tilt.

Let's me know darling our love is strong and will not wilt.

I love your warped sense of humor, you are truly my long awaited match.

I love you my beloved you are a real authentic catch.
