Tips for dealing with nosy friends...Nosy friends are very aggravating and can get on a person's nerves to the point you'll want to tell them to butt out and not to ask another question about your business anymore. It's best to try and not hurt anyone's feelings if you can help it. I've found it's best to not ever make an enemy in a workplace because it can make your life miserable. The best thing to do with a nosy friend is do not tell them anything about you or your family. Keep your business information and anything pertaining to your family to yourself and do share it with others in the workplace. When you have a conversation with them, keep it about everything but what they are interested in hearing from you.

When someone is nosy about my business, I don't allow them to get a single thing out of me about what goes on in my life. It's easy to shut out a nosy person by plainly ignoring them, and after awhile they'll get the message, and they'll not ask you a single question again. Many people strives on the business of other people because then they can go around a workplace and tell everyone things you might not want them to know about you.

People who are nosy feels the information they are passing out about other people's business is because they are "in the know" about every thing going on in an office atmosphere. They need to be in on other people's business because it makes them feel "important" and others will see they do have friends who confide in them. They believe people will take a liking to them because they share all the information they know about other people in the office. They do this to make a close friendship with the people they are telling because they want to start getting information about their business and their life too. They like to make others feel important like they're privy to other people's business because they are trusted and liked so much.

Nosy people can be vicious and they can look you right in the eyes and deny they told anyone about your business. It's best to keep your family matters, problems, and happenings locked up at home when you go to the workplace. I've seen gossip destroy people's lives because a gossip monger carried gossip throughout an office place about a supposed to be good friend. Many of the things gossipers and nosy people tell others is only hearsay or untruths or half truths. Don't ever fall into the hands of those who carry deceitful news.
