Story of Jesus from Luke chapter two -
Mary and Joseph were coming undone,
anxiously searching midst those trav'ling through,
echoes of God's voice, You can't find my Son?
Just only yesterday, we held Him near
right by our side. and then dropping their brow.
How could we lose One most treasured and dear?
Should we return to Jerusalem now?
Safe in the Temple, at end their pursuit,
capably teaching the Son sat unfazed.
Hearing this Boy/Man's replies so astute
those who attended His words stood amazed.
Story of Christians from that time to this,
quick a day's journey away from your Lord.
Noticing nothing of what's gone amiss.
When did you lose Him the One you adored?
Busy with duty, true worship you shirk.
All of a sudden you fear He's not there!
Visit the temple where He does His work;
find Him secure in your heart, in your prayer.
