Every moment that we spend in our life is precious. A stress free, healthy and happy life can help in increasing those numbers of days. To achieve this we might have to get into a routine, which will make it boring and monotonous. In order to change this and make things in our life more enjoyable, we can add a little magic called 'fun' to it.
1) Follow and fulfill your dreams and desires
We all have dreams that we have left unconquered. The reason for this could be work or family commitments or that we just have not yet taken that first step. We have fun when we do the things we like. So do not wait! Plunge into them when you have the chance. Doing things you always wanted to will make you feel a sense of accomplishment. This makes you happy. Moreover, when you are happy, it makes you free of stress and depression. Just make time for doing your favorite things. Once you know how and when you will keep going.
2) Exercise
Exercise is an important element that keeps you fit and healthy. Instead of your daily routine of hitting the gym or your exercise machine at home, take a walk or jog in the park. Not only will you be getting fresh air but also see the wonderful things in nature and the life outside. If you have your friends or family nearby you can go together. Your daily exercise routine can turn onto something fun.
Playing crosswords and puzzles will keep your brain active and healthy. Memory games are another fun way to turn those wheels.
3) Laughter is the best medicine
Oh yes it is! A good laugh will lower stress hormones and shut those negative thoughts out of your life. Read a funny book or watch a hilarious movie. Add cheer in your life. Get together with your friends and share funny experiences.
4) Spend time with your family and friends
No matter how busy your life may be, make space for your family and friends. Make sure you have a get-together occasionally. Take out all those old photographs, which will open door to beautiful memories. Play games and share your stories. Not only will this make your family bond strong or keeps your friends close, it will also help to share your happiness and joy with others.
5) Chocolate cravings
How many times have you put that thought away and controlled that sweet temptation. Well you don't have to always. Eating dark chocolate is good for you. So when you have those cravings, go for it. Just make sure that everything is within limits!
6) Sleep well
Go to sleep! Make sure you get a good night's rest. Just tuck yourself under those sheets with happy thoughts in your head. This makes you brisk and you will feel great the next day.
7) Pets
Having pets is fun especially for all those animal lovers out there. If you do not have the time or facility to keep pets like dog or cats or birds, try going fish. Just watching them move in the water is relaxing and calms your mind.
8) Music
Music can make us feel calm or get us energetic and running. Listen to goof music or learn to play a music instrument if you are interested. Sing aloud when you feel like no matter how bad you are it.
Just remember, you can make the thing you have to do either difficult and stressful, or make it fun and enjoyable. This depends on your attitude and perception. However, being stressful and unhealthy will only result in bad mental and physical health, which will decrease the number of days you have. So start with a fresh and positive attitude and keep your spirits high. The better your mental and physical strength is the longer you live. So be happy and get going!
