If you are a teen and you happen to read this, don't click that red button on the top right hand corner of your window screen just yet. Just give me two minutes of your time reading what I have to say. I am a teenager myself so I am not going to lecture you on whether is it right to have sex as a teen or even lecturing you if you are ready or not ready for it. I am happy enough that you actually took time and search about when is it ready to have sex. It shows how much you care about yourself and you want to make sure on this matter. You should applaud yourself for doing so.

Ok, let's get down to business, shall we? So when is a teen ready for sex? My best advice to you is, if you ever wonder when is it ready for you to have sex is asking yourself are you ready for whatever that is going to happen after sex.

As a teenager, no doubt, we have raging hormones. We start feeling fuzzy when the guy that you have been crushing on for all your life start to kiss you or even when your boyfriend that you truly love and adore ask you to engage sex with him. For that moment, you felt that life is great and having sex with him will be the best damn thing that you have ever felt in your life. Sex on its own is two people engaging their most intimate time. For that moment, life is a pure bliss so ask yourself again, what is going to happen after sex?

1) Is the one that you had given apart of yourself away if he is going to take responsibility if there is an unwanted pregnancy?

2) Is he going to keep his promise to love, honour, cherish you for all his life like he said he would?

3) How would you handle if you contracted diseases?

There are a lot more questions that I can share with you to ask yourself if you are ready for sex but I feel that those three questions are the most crucial when you want to decide if you are ready for sex. If you answer all yes, then go ahead but make sure that it is what you want not what the other party sweeten you into it. If you answered no, in any of the questions, then you are not ready for sex. Sex should be a mutual feeling between two party who wants to give a part of them to the other person. Sex is wonderful feeling shared within two people, it shouldn't be rushed or forced; always remember that.

However, I would like to caution you when you ask yourself those questions that I mention. I would like you to be very honest and truthful to yourself. Once you start having doubts or giving an alternative solutions if something happen, you are not ready. I hope you would take these three questions even until you have become an adult. Having sex is not a casual intimacy that you always see on television. It's deeper than that. Once you have given a part of yourself to someone, you can never get it back. Take your time and think, its a decision that you have to make on your own.
