The condition in which excessive sweating is experienced as a result of overproduction from the glands situated at the underarms is known as 'Hyperhidrosis'. You'll probably be feeling a fear of the summer coming ahead, if you are suffering from this problem.

The sweat gland that are already over-working, move to a higher speed, as the temperature rises. However, it is not at all necessary now onwards to hide yourself in air-conditioning during the summer. You would love this as the only problem that you had to be is a white spot on your small black dress!

FDA approved BOTOX injections is a means to cure the problem of hyperhidrosis. You have guessed it right! The very product that you have used for treating wrinkles and line can be helpful for controlling excessive sweating as well. The process of its working and the expected results are explained here:

At the very beginning, you are advised to consult your physician in order to detect whether you are really suffering from this problem. Its symptoms include the need of changing the shirts again and again. Similarly, the tops are frequently full of stains caused due to excessive sweat. Even the deodorant and the clinically suggested anti-perspirants also seem to have no effect. After the diagnosis is completed, discuss with your physician about having a BOTOX treatment. Remember that it may not necessarily be useful for you. The company conducted a research, which shows that a little more than 50% of the subjects on which the research was carried out, had a positive response about the treatment. However, all of them experienced that sweating was reduced to half. It would be great, if this works for you as well. You have a simple process to follow. The doctor has to detect the location of the glands in the underarm. Then, each gland is injected with the toxin. BOTOX being a neurotoxin stops the nerve signals which are responsible to inform the glands to produce sweat. Multiple treatments might be required in order to ensure that the response is effective. However, once completed, the results are effective for a period of 6 to 16 months. You can start your usual activities immediately, as no recovery time is needed.

Search for a certified dermatologist or doctor who is trained to treat hyperhidrosis using BOTOX injections. Since, the product is toxic, it is necessary to use the injections under the supervision of a trained person, failing to which can create risks. Discuss with your physician about the process and also about the success of others who were treated.

It is no more required that you suffer throughout another hot summer and have to face the embarrassing problem called hyperhidrosis. It could severely affect your life and you might not be able to enjoy outings with the family or romantic evenings. This problem surely suppresses you during intimate experiences and stops you from performing social activities.

It also limits your options to select clothing since the clothes being used by you may show sweat spots. After all other ways prove to be ineffective and you feel that the problem in no more bearable, the BOTOX injections are still available to provide you with a normal life.
