I Pretend to Work, They Pretend to Pay Me
The paperwork is never done
Work is boring, it's not fun
I pretend to work all day
The company pretends to pay
Every day is like the rest
Doing work that I detest
I'd like to get out and play
Wish that I could get away
But right now I'm really bored
Working so I can afford
To pay for the house and car
Working hard won't get me far
Friday's here, I'll soon be gone
Happy that the weekend's on
When I leave I'll have a blast
Quitting time, it's here at last!
