What is child-like faith? To me, child-like faith is a simple faith. It is also a mountain-moving faith. A person with a child-like faith simply takes God at His word.
Given the above definition of child-like faith, do you have such a faith? If you do have such a faith, it should not be difficult for you to believe God for a miracle or miracles. God says in His word that He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. The bible recorded for us many wonderful testimonies of God's miracles in the days of old. Since He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore, then He certainly can still perform miracles in our day. Sadly, though, there are Christians in our generation who do not believe that God still performs miracles today. If only Christians all over the world dare to believe God for miracles, I believe we would have seen this world being powerfully transformed and lives being powerfully touched by the miracle-producing power of God.
Are you in need of a miracle from God today? If you are, do you dare to believe Him for one? If you dare not, have you ever asked yourself why? Is it because you don't think God cares enough about you? Or is it because you simply lack child-like faith in Him? If your answer is the latter, then maybe it's time for you to ask Him to give you child-like faith. He tells us in the book of Matthew : "Ask and you shall receive." All you need to do is to ask. Isn't that simple?
Are you facing an impossible or seemingly impossible situation in your life at this point in time? If you are, then maybe it's high time for you to exercise child-like faith in God. The bible recorded for us several resurrection stories, the most well-known of which was the resurrection of Christ. If God could raise Jesus from the dead, do you not think that He can bring life into any seemingly dead or impossible situations in your life?
It's time, brothers and sisters, for us to start exercising child-like faith in our God - a faith that moves whatever mountains that stand in our way and/or in the way of our loved ones. Let's believe together! I would like to conclude this article with the verse in Hebrews 11 : 1 that says, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." It's my prayer that this verse will come alive in our lives!
