After introducing the background, the first chapter is offering everyone a good chance to see interests of Beijing, as the capital of China, in its ancient wonders and at the same time, to also see its transformation into a modern cosmopolitan city.

The Cultural Center of the Nation - Beijing
The Capital of China for more than nine centuries, Beijing today is a living museum of the Chinese cultural legacy. Its most famous sites - The Forbidden City, The Summer Palace, The Great Wall and The Temple of Heaven - have captured the imaginations of travelers ever since the time of Marco Polo.
The City is a museum of history. The palaces of the Ming and Qing Emperors present magnificent exterior views and house countless artistic treasures. The rectangular Forbidden City is surrounded by high walls, with tall towers situated above its gates.
Beijing is the political and cultural capital of China, as well as a center of international activities. It is a city of friendship; its citizens extending their hospitality to all visiting dignitaries and travelers alike, thus becoming a great city of the modern world.
As China opens its door to the world, and so it will create the opportunities for more business in this dynamic market of the East.
