The best place I have found back-to-school bargains at are places like Wal-mart, Target, and K-mart.

Walmart has reasonably priced supplies that nine times out of ten beat the competition and you can get everything you need in one stop. For example, you can get your car a tune-up while you shop for your school supplies, new wardrobe, music, games, and groceries. Then as you leave, you can fill up your car with gas at the gas station in the parking lot.

Kmart has the second best prices on school supplies and you can get service on your car and your groceries, but its not a one-stop shopping center like walmart and they don't usually keep kmart open for 24 hours.

Target has the third best prices on school supplies and groceries and clothes, but it seriously lacks behind Kmart and Walmart in being the best place to visit on back to school things and one-stop shopping.

My advice is to shop at Walmart this back-to-school season where you can get everything you will need in one trip and not over-tax yourself on unnecessary errands.

Ways Walmart saves you money

The way Walmart saves you money is by beating the competition in pricing to gain you, the customer, into the store. As you wander down the aisles of school supplies, you see filler paper being sold for $1.00, pens for $1.00, three ring binders for $4.00, and spiral one-subject notebooks for $0.10.

At Kmart, the prices are $0.05 more for the aforementioned school necessities and at Target they are $0.10 more for the aforementioned school supplies. Therefore, to save money and get everything you need for your child to be successful, it makes more sense to shop at Walmart. If I don't shop at walmart for everything, my own personal experience is that I end up paying for more than I should and as college for me is pretty expensive by itself, I cannot afford to shop at any store that does not beat out the competition on pricing for all of my back-to-school needs.

I will stand by my assertion that Walmart is the only store that I have found to be the most affordable for me and my back-to-school needs and therefore the only store I would recommend to any parent looking for convenience and affordability to shop at Walmart this back-to-school season.
