[Only I Remain]
Painting our own lives
Sketching our own demise
Reading all our lies
Coloring all our cries
[Erasing broken lives]
[Wrestling my demise]
[Accepting all the lies]
[Choosing not to cry]
Destroying our own hopes
Applying our dying rope
Believing we should mope
Scared we'll never cope
[Building my own hope]
[Cutting down the rope]
[Influenced not to mope]
[Confident I will cope]
Dreaming our own fate
Creating our own bait
Determining our weight
Building our own gate
[Fighting my chosen fate]
[Distracting from the bait]
[Shoulders releasing weight]
[Destroying my own gate]
Planning all our pain
Producing all the rain
Enclosing our domain
Deciding what remains
[Arguing with the pain]
[Shielding from the rain]
[Disengaging this domain]
[Only I remain]

I look at myself
At my old grey sweater,
There's Just Me
Don't try to compare me to someone else;
There's not another quite the same.
There's just me.
Don't say I remind

Me…
What do I see?
The earth and the sky
And few colors in between,
Filling up a large empty canvas
That never really
