[Honey, Please Come Home]
Yet another soaked pillow
Thrown onto the floor
That's the third one this week
Since you're not here anymore
You used to be here to keep me warm
Holding me against you forever
Through the freezing nights
It was always ... now it's never
The door was always opened
You would come and go as you wanted
Now it seems you're everywhere
I'm lonely, confused, and haunted
Surrounding me entirely
But never close enough to hold
Living as if I don't exist
The nights have never been so cold
I finally decided to shut the door
Maybe I'll warm up then
I never thought I'd have to close it
Yet, here I am again
I decided not to lock it
Hoping maybe you'll change your mind
I shut it only to keep those out
That I should've left behind
To everyone else there's no way in
Sealed forever with distrust
Simply a note that reads: stay away
Unable to open ... Impossible to bust
Right now I'm letting you know
It's not locked, there's still a way
I'm not ready to shut you out
I sat waiting by it today
*
In case you change your mind
The door is somewhat jammed
It could take a little shove
Inside it's very dark, watch your step
I'll be upstairs, my love
Don't be deceived by the tears
They're only falling for you
And this marking that's on my heart
You're just like a tattoo
*
But since tonight you're not coming back:
It's about time to call it a night
Another day ending in sighs
Walking alone again to the room
That echoes with endless goodbyes
I'll pull back the sheets
Soak another pillow or two
Overwhelmed by your photos
While bidding them adieu
Laying alone under these covers
In my memories I roam
I miss you ... I love you
Honey, please come home

TEARS FOR BABY
Another day another tear
when mommy does not have you near.
Another breath another pain,
another moment too
Alone at night when all is still
My mind comes alive of its own free will
And memories flood of days gone by
Now you are

your smile and your wave
stops my heart beat, knowing
your love for me was
