Songs: Hope

Laughing Man

Who are you? You look kind of familiar
You can laugh, are you daft
You happy-go-lucky bastard?

What are you? Ambling on the open road
So carefree, can't you see
You're surrounded by misery?
What a pity

You have a problem you fail to notice
With the elation you have shown us
Running around without a care
Worries left behind for your welfare

You fear nothing
You see the best in everything

Where are you? Your voice just seems so distant
You're tongue-tied and your pride doesn't seem to
Ever matter

Why are you bursting with laughter all the time?
Are you dead in the head
Or are all your bones just funny?
Why so sunny?

You have a problem you fail to notice
With the elation you have shown us
Running around without a care
Worries left behind for your welfare

You fear nothing
You see the best in everything
You fear nothing
You see the best in everything
