Looks, money, or character: Choosing what's important

Variety is the spice of life so they say. So many different choices and we need to make the right choice. How can we make the right choice, at a time when looks is dominating the world. If you have looks, you think you will succeed. Yes, you have your self esteem and you are the lucky one to be called for interviews. You are indeed on the top of the world, when your looks carry you through life. You may be the one to hit the jack pot with the handsomest guy in town. Yes, he was bowled over by your looks. But looks don't always stay with you. You begin to age everyday and along with your ageing, your looks slowly but surely disappear. Each day when you wake up and rush to look yourself in the mirror, its definitely a different face you see. Maybe the first wrinkle reminding you that looks just ain't gonna stay. But you struggle each day, to keep up with the demand of looks, which by itself wears you down. What happens when a man sees his woman ageing, he wonders. Was this the same beauty that I loved and married ? He's forgotten the rule of nature, that man ages. He is already dating someone new, behind closed doors. So, I suppose choosing looks may be a foolish choice.

Money! Money! everyone wants money. Yes, money is needed to survive. You don't get anything without money. So, how are you going to live in this world without money? Money is necessary. People work long hours everyday converting days into nights and nights into days, just to make plenty of money. They forget about their families, and all they care about is money. Quarrels break out in families, cause there ain't no mama at home to cook and there ain't no papa at home to take care of the kids and chores. So what happens? Children are left to fend for themselves and find solace in gangs and crimes. Money has surely torn the family apart. Then there are the extremes, where people do anything for the love of money. They rob, cheat commit crime, get involved in drugs and lose their ethics just for the sake of make fast, money. This kind of money, lands them behind bars. What about the born rich, who do not have to work, they have enough money for generations to come. They hardly get sleep at night, they indulge in pleasures that give them momentry pleasure and are back to square one, ponderieng. What is the use of having money and losing your family? Having money and behind bars. Too much money that robs you of sweet sleep. No point. Yet we are all in the rat race for money. Money talks-
