Poetry: The rules of love

True love
Can not
Be
Forced
Coaxed
Or
Bought

True love
Can not
Be
Pushed
Whined
Or
Begged

Why not
Let it
Grow
In
Its
Own
Time?

I can
Not be
Forced
To
Love
You
Now

I can
Not be
Begged
To
Love
You
Forever

I refuse
To give
My
Heart
Away
So
Soon

Be patient
As I
Mend
Heal
And
Rest
Myself

When I
Am ready
To
Love
Again
I'll
Call

You don't
Want my
Tattered
Broken
Bruised
Heart
Now

I am
Not whole
It
Would
Not
Be
Fair

It would
Not be
Right
To
Give
My
Heart

I am
Too scarred
To
Love
You
Like
You
Deserve
