Poem Title: Flashbacks of a forgotten soldier
Check out that man ducked behind the car.
Crouched down as if he were in 'Nam.
Clutching his keys like a grenade,
he pulls the pin and takes his aim.
At the N-16 bus headed downtown.
He low crawls away, next to the tires, face down.
Then sits on the curb, staring one way.
Stolen youth, revisited in dreams of war every day.
