Morning coffee, you're my friend
You bring my headache to an end.
When my stress is maxing out
You give me something to smile about.
Afternoon coffee, you're my crush
You make fun the workday rush.
Even if the fax machine breaks down
Or my hard drive crashes, I still won't frown.
My boss can nag me, customers can scream
I'll just have a java with cream.
The world could spin right off its axis
I wouldn't know it in my caffeine induced praxis.
Evening coffee, you're my love
I sit by the fire, peaceful as a dove
But when I go to bed, I'll be wired
Now I can't sleep because I'm not tired!
