I Was Sure You Were There
I was sure you were there in the morning
I was sure you were there during the day
I was sure you were there while I was sleeping
I was sure I heard your voice today
But I know you are in Heaven
and you would be here if you could
So I think you are in spirit
and spirit is where I will find you
When I am down and feeling lonely
I think of you and pray
Because I am sure I feel your presence
in the morning night and day
