Poetry: Vampires

by Kendra Allen

Created on: August 04, 2009

VAMPIRES!

When shadows choke the light of day
And stain the night with shades of gray,
They stir within their shells of clay,
Plagued with voracious thirst;

No sound betrays the ghastly tread
Of bodies borrowed from the dead
As they seek their feast of red
Among tomorrow's cursed.
