Tiny ants get no respect,
though they are very strong,
carrying 20 times their weight,
in single file they march along.
Always on the lookout
for sugar-laden snacks,
ants will carry off your food,
and burrow in cement cracks.
Ants invade our homes,
and cause further consternation,
when they show up at picnics
without an invitation.
Ants seemingly have no purpose,
and no redeeming features,
they can be quite annoying,
still . . . they are God's creatures.

Marching forth, intent on purpose
