What do you see ;
I see peace in the birds, the flowers and the trees. A song in the brush ling leaves, that remains so timeless in an endless breeze. A whispering wind, as a storm is born. Crackling thunder, to a mountain, it's never scorned. I see a lake, reflected in hopes, early-light. My heart surrenders to the tranquility of it's sight.
I see indigo words, softly spoken, a lovely gentle hearts token. I see fiery eyes and red words from the wine, from a bottle that's been broken. I see people trying to live in life's tranquility. One day at a time, is their loves equality.
I see broken bodies walking the streets, as lonely, as life can be. Living without any money or memories, in a mind that's emptied of all it's uses in time. It seems to be easier to destroy than create, one button left, don't hesitate. Send us all back to a simpler plan, love each other and lend a hand.
How much can a simple heart stand? I see the birds running in the sand, will we ever begin to understand?
