Time comes to me
He knocks on my door
I let him in
"You know there comes a...."
I said that I know
He smiled and took my hand
"You know that it is...."
I looked at the floor and nodded
He took hold of my chin
As he wipes a tear
"Please don't cry, dear
I'll be with you"
I smiled but it faded fast
"Please understand my fear"
He nodded and took me in his arms
"Some will cry for everyone has to die"
I look in his eyes and knew it was time
So he lead me by his hand
"Remember I'll be with you
For always and forever"
