Finding popular content for your Adsense website is imperative if the website is to be a success and generate any reasonable amount of Adsense revenue. This is not simply so that the traffic levels visiting the website will be high but so that the ads displayed on the website relate to popular subjects and are more likely to be clicked upon, thereby generating revenue.

The first step to finding popular content for your Adsense website is to determine a subject which you know a great deal about and will therefore have plenty of content from which to choose. This is imperative to the success of the website as content is generally considered King on the Internet and fresh, quality content - updated and added to on a frequent basis - will be essential if the site is to prove popular.

Performing a Google search on the key words and phrases you have identified will allow you to see what is popular already for them. Viewing some of the sites which are returned on the first page will provide an overview of what people searching on your specific subject are clicking on most often and perhaps help you to structure your own site accordingly by looking at the issues from a different perspective or even in greater depth.
