God of War has been a very pricey game for the PSP for quite a long time now. I've only heard good things about it and very good reviews along with ratings. When it dropped in price I immediately bought it used for the $17.99. I just couldn't wait to open it up, pop it into my PSP and play it. I was so excited that I finally had one of the best games for the PSP!
I started playing and it was very fun. It had a decent, yet slightly corny in my opinion, storyline. It was cool to see all of the interesting attack moves, combos, and defenses.
The graphics were incredible! They were the best graphics I've seen on the PSP. I loved the game. It was quickly moving up to my favorite games that I owned.
After owning the game for about three or four days, I grew more and more disappointed at the fact that all there really is to do is kill the enemies. As the game grew more boring, I decided I would take it back to the store where I bought it. I was in the middle of playing the last time when all of a sudden I finished the game! I was so surprised at how short the game was! I beat it in less than seven hours total!
I took it back and exchanged the game for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, a game that actually deserved a 9.0 on GameSpot. I loved the game for the first few days but grew tired of it quickly. It was just senseless violence and blood!
Although I didn't like it that much, it is one of those games that many people could really get into. It did have amazing character movement, graphics, and soundtrack that fit the games settings perfectly. If there was a better storyline, and more to the game than meaningless killing, I would have loved the game but I personally like the Final Fantasy game I bought much better.
If you're a gamer who loves action packed games with excellent graphics and minimal thinking required, this game is great for you! Otherwise you should avoid it, for the very few puzzles that are in the game, are very simple. In fact, they aren't even puzzles! You just stumble upon the solution after a while!
Personally I give it four out of ten stars, but it might be a very good game for others.

God of War, what a nice name for a game. The name sounds so aggressive that I was hoping to get a good fight in it. Well,
