Life sometimes is so very hard,
at times hope seems lost.
But know what Christ said is true,
He gave his life for you,
He is the everlasting life.

And if you're down or you despair,
Just lift up your heart.
For Christ will answer your prayers,
so you'll know He cares,
He offers everlasting life.

Know that each day starts anew,
this brief and mortal journey.
Remember Christ waits at your goal
to warmly embrace your soul,
and give you everlasting life.

Yes Heaven lives within your heart
when you love Him.
Walk His path and be true
and He'll walk with you,
and you'll find everlasting life.
