I am a complex man, but there are some things that are universally me!
Never steal a woman from another man.....unless he's a prick....even then, don't steal...win her over. In a fight, there are no winners.....We all feel pain....But there are times when you need to hit first and ask questions later. Never back down. Fight hard. 'Cause they sure won't.
NEVER EVER hit a woman! (Unless, of course, she is trying to KILL you...ie. coming at you with a knife or pointing a gun at your head. ONLY THEN is it acceptable to hit a woman.) Treat others the way you would want to be treated. ALWAYS. And if they don't reciprocate. Then screw 'em. Walk away and keep them out of your life at all costs. Forgiveness is good.
Love thy neighbor.........Unless, of course, they try to destroy you. Then fight back and pity them. Don't hate them. Pity them and pray for their soul. They are lost.
The children are our legacy. Even for those who don't have children (like myself). They are the only way the human race can continue. Protect them at all times. But teach them well so you won't have to protect them their entire lives. Their safety and health (physical and mental) should be every citizen's priority.
Politics is a science reserved for those with the intellect and sense of logic to make sense of what they're proposing. Ignorants (drunks, bullies, hockey moms, and plumbers, that is..) should refrain from stepping into the political circle. They don't possess the common sense or logical "think before you stink" mentality required to make a positive difference in society. No talk of Politics or Religion in a bar....EVER.....Booze and ideas don't mix....they always end up bad.
There is no good excuse for the killing of another human being....unless it is merciful. Suffering is universal. Once you begin to believe you are the only one suffering then think again. We are not alone.
There is no such thing as an inevitable or 'just' war. If war comes it will be from the failure of human wisdom. (BONAR LAW) The Clown would be the truest of Kings or Presidents. It is the clown who levies peace with laughter. Who stomps out war with the pun of a pundit. Mocks authority itself with sarcastic and hilarious euphemisms. And never EVER drops his pants unless he's sure he'll get a laugh. This is a leader we can follow and trust. A humble, wise, old fool.
This is just what I believe. Make your own decisions in life. But if they hurt another soul, which they might, don't be surprised when they hurt you back. We are all connected. Speak not from your gut, but your spirit....contrary to popular belief, they ARE different. Think about it.
