How to put pictures on a PSP

There a couple of ways to put pictures onto the PSP. You could save images from the Internet or take pictures with a digital camera. To get pictures off of the Internet that you can put on a PSP, make a folder named PHOTO. It must be named PHOTO with all capital letters or the process will nor work. Then save the pictures off of the Internet and save it in this folder. The exact size of the photo to fit the PSP perfectly is 480 by 272 pixels, but any size will do.

After you chose the picture(s) you would like, hook your PSP up to the computer. There are three basic ways to do this:

1.Use a mini USB cable, a cable with an average size USB on one side but a mini one able to fit your PSP on the other. Connect the bigger side to the computer and the smaller to your PSP.

2.Connect a memory card reader that you can attach with a different cable and hook it up to the computer. Then put the Memory Stick Pro Duo (the memory stick the PSP uses) into the correct slot on the memory card reader.

3. Use a built in slot on the computer to put your memory stick into.

*Note that many computers do not have built in memory stick slots that are adaptable with a Memory Stick Pro Duo.

You then go to USB mode on the PSP under settings.

Once you get into USB mode the computer should recognize it and bring up an options menu. Find the option that says "Open Folder to view files using Windows Explorer" and double click it. Your computer should now be displaying the folders that are on your PSP. Open the folder named PSP. Now the computer is displaying the folders inside the folder 'PSP'. Now drag and drop the folder PHOTO you created earlier into this one.

You now have pictures that you found on the Internet on your PSP to view whenever you please. If you would like to put pictures that you took with a digital camera, just connect your camera to the computer and use the same basic process of uploading these photos to the folder named PHOTO.

If your camera uses a Memory Stick Pro Duo, like the PSP, all you have to do is insert that memory stick into your PSP and view them.

And that's all there is to it!
