Summer Storm

Day dawns heavy, skies o'ercast.
Clouds move quickly gathering fast.
Treetops tossing, leaves fly by.
Lightning sears the leaden sky.

Thunder roars its angry warning.
Nature rules this summer morning.
Pitter patter puddles form.
Swiftly, surely comes the storm.
