Poetry: Our children

by Jan Stribley

Created on: August 01, 2009   Last Updated: August 02, 2009

Our Children
You live
You grow.
You come
You go.

We try.
We fail
We cry.

If only we
Could really be
The parents you
Would like us to.

But God knows
And understands
So we commit you
To his hands.
