It is a well known fact that New York City is the largest city in the United States and one of the largest cities on the planet. Although one may debate individual eating habits and lifestyles, it is a well known fact that there are numerous vegetarians in the world today. One of the things to value about NYC is it's assortment of eating places, including vegetarian restaurants. I don't know about you, but as a vegetarian, I am always looking for individual restaurants and eateries that offer a vegetarian selection, however; when I come across an establishment that bases it's entire premise on vegetarian friendly foods, I find myself more attracted to it. Even if you are not vegetarian and want to try something new, you just may want to dine in one of these meat free eateries. It's a well known fact that there are many vegetarian restaurants in Manhattan, so I have decided to narrow down the many vegetarian restaurants to only the best in NYC.

New York is so big and because it is so big, there are numerous restaurants. One thing is certain, there are only a select few that can be qualified as the best and this is one of those restaurants. Located in the heart of the big apple, on 59 E. 8th St. in between Broadway and University Place, lies one of the best vegetarian restaurants in NYC, Maoz Vegetarian. With everything from sides to salads and sandwiches to specials and meal deals, who wouldn't love this incredible vegetarian restaurant. If you are fond of Middle Eastern cuisine, you are most definitely going to love this place and even if you are not or have yet to experience it, you will still love this place. The environment is really good, but the service is better, and well, the food is the best. Prices start at only $.75 and go up depending on whatever you choose. Maoz Vegetarian is open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 am until 10:00 pm and Sunday from 12 pm until 9 pm EST. For more information, simply call: (212) 420-5999 today.

If you are looking for a healthy, yet flavorful kosher restaurant with great service, look no further, as I think you will love this fine vegetarian bistro. Located in the heart of Manhattan on 127 2nd Ave. in between 7th and 8th Ave. lies one of the best vegetarian restaurants in NYC, B&H Vegetarian Restaurant. With everything from soups to salads to entrees to appetizers and tons more, you just cannot resist this amazing vegetarian establishment. The desserts are incredible and the best news is, breakfast and brunch
