Poetry: Relaxing

by Beatrice Okorie

I am not going to communicate with anyone today

I just want to sit and relax my mind

Maybe I will eat an apple for lunch

Or I can imagine it being eaten in past time

I just want to leave my worries in motion

Maybe I will sleep in my relaxing potion

And then wake up to find life waiting for me

Or maybe I can escape to another part of the world

And relax under a big palm tree
