1) Make the most of every moment. When you get to the end of your life, you won't want to have any regrets. There are no sadder words than "might have been." All that we really have is this moment in time-make the most of it! While you're waiting for the perfect circumstances, life is passing you by!
2) Move Forward. Keep your focus on what is ahead of you. Make progress towards your goals every day. Every journey in life begins with that first step. If you are persistent enough to keep putting one foot in front of the other, you will be rewarded for it, and you will succeed in reaching your destination.
3) Be open to all possibilities. Tune in to your inner knowing-that still small voice. You receive these messages for a reason. You may not always understand these promptings, but if you learn to act rather than question, you will see amazing results.
4) Be willing to sacrifice. You don't necessarily have to lose in order to prosper, but if you don't have the courage to risk, you'll never know what you've potentially given up. Starting over can be one of life's most precious gifts. It all depends on what you do with the opportunity. Some things are worth sacrificing for.
5) Stretch outside of your comfort zone. People often make the mistake of waiting for their dream to come knocking on their front door like it was sponsored by Publisher's Clearing House. It takes committed action to make your vision a reality. If you keep doing the same old thing, you'll get exactly that-the same old thing!
6) Color outside of the lines. This is often called thinking outside of the box or daring to be different. Just because something has always been done a certain way, doesn't mean that it is the only way, or even the right way. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. Live your life by doing what your heart desires and what you are passionate about. It might seem difficult at first, but it will end up making things a whole lot easier in the long run.
7) Have a giving heart. Once you discover what it is that you are passionate about, find a way to incorporate it into improving the quality of life for others in some way. If you use your talents and gifts to improve the human condition, you will guarantee that your endeavors will bear fruit. This is a universal law.
8) Be true to yourself. It is guaranteed that people will judge you for making choices that are different than theirs. Often times, those that judge you the harshest are the ones closest to you. It doesn't matter.
