I am a coffee lover among millions in this country. What does make me different or special? I was born in the coffee capital of the world: Brazil. In Brazil a cup of coffee is sacred. You won't visit anyone without being offered a cup of coffee or the famous "cafezinho" (diminutive for coffee). Imagine a cup of espresso. Very similar in texture, but in Brazil they may serve with half pound of sugar. I was coming back from Brazil recently when the flight attendant asked me how much sugar I wanted. I answered only two will do it. He was amazed and said I thought you were Brazilian. I said I am, but I don't need extra pounds with my cup of coffee. We both laughed.

I was introduced to the Keurig system in 2005 through my employer. I was amazed. No mess, no filter, no measurements and a hot cup of coffee less than a minute away. This is the best invention ever I thought.

Then about couple years ago Keurig started to market the home version. I couldn't wait any longer. I bought mine. I love it. I use it two to three times everyday. I am the only coffee drinker in the house, although everyone loves the aroma of coffee around here. It is part of our routine. Prior to Keurig System I was spending up to $4/day in store bought coffee. I just didn't want to make a pot of coffee and let is go to waste or have all the work of measuring and cleaning a coffee maker.

I love my machine one cup at the time. You buy the little coffee containers or K-cups. You can even join a coffee club on line. You insert the K-cup into the machine, fill the water container (mine last about 2 days), press the power bottom and in less than one minute - voila - you have a cup of fresh coffee. What is the secret for this success? No mess, no filter, capability of brewing more coffee with the same speed, capability of choosing different flavors - regular, decaf, hazelnut, French roasted, Colombian, etc.

My guests are always amazed by my selection of coffee, although that huge selection is only for guests. I am a big fan of the Green Mountain Breakfast Blend and DeCafe - French Roast also by Green Mountain. I wish Keurig made a lighter version, so I could bring with me to hotels. Although very efficient system in hotels I love Keurig Premium Coffee System. This product is here to stay at least at my household.
