A spring storm, the dark clouds move in.
The sky turns black and the large rain droplets begin to fall.
Lightning streaks the sky and the thunder booms overhead.
The wind rustles through the tree leaves.
As the storm progresses, the rain drops turn to pea size hail.
The wind becomes vilent and strong.
Then as quickly as it started, the storm stops.
And the world around me is calm once again.

Nature's Greeting
Wind, lightning, thunder
Early morning summer storm
Cracking loudly into the dawn
Traveling swiftly
Song of the Storm
Wild white horses charge, rampaging,
Can you feel the anger in their throaty roar
That ear-splitting sound
It stormed last night above my bed
I pulled the covers up o'er my head.
The rain it pelted our old tin shed
as I cowered there
THUNDERSTORM
2 a.m., and the gritty slur
of thunder. I go outside,
the air clabbered, sodium haze
hanging from streetlights.
Dark
