Carry me back Lord to that place so long ago, where I knelt on my knees to pray.
Help me remember that feeling that I felt on my salvation day.
You poured your mercy on me, it was so sweet, in you I was complete.
Now troubles are all around me, o' how heavy my life weighs.
Help me Lord to go back to the way I felt that day, help me know Lord just what to say when I pray.
Make me renewed like you did on my salvation day.

As gray skies covered me from direction to direction,
And black mountains
