Time to forget and start over
no point in wishing it was the beginning
Just living today,
Enjoying each and every day
Without waiting and wishing of holding on to somebody.
You can't go on dreaming,
That's isn't realistic
Life is real
No point in pretending something exists
when it doesn't.
I'm going to let go of them
Put it behind me
Set myself free
And just be me.
I don't want to lie
Pretend our love is still alive.
There was nothing I could do,
for when it started I didn't mean to pick you,
Maybe I was your angel, maybe you were mine.
All i know is me and you were way up in cloud nine
This might have been a sign
But really a thin drawn line, of Fate.

From heaven gleamed
by Tony Gomes
An Amistad was sealed upon men's heart
To wander the "unknown habitat"
What gives what takes,
What leaves what stays!
