There is a need, a burning desire
That dwells in the depths of my heart;
The need to run.
Forget planning
Forget time,
I only need my feet to go.
And hours they fly
Screaming against the pain
As they are shredded by the path.
But I need to run.
I can't let the world see my tears,
But I can let the road carry me away
And let me pretend
That my problems won't greet me
When I return.

by Chris Solter

a little faster,
I know I can do it
I can run faster
just lean forward
dig harder
stride
