When you've finally had enough
of drugs,
and alcohol,
of the chase for sex,
the intense quest for power
and all the money you can make,
and you look at the void
that all these things filled,
giving your life some sense
of purpose,
because it does,
yes it does,
and after you've given all that up
because it is not fullfilling
(and it really never was)
you realize that you have
nothing.
Get over it.
Observe now.
Exercise a little.
Read a book.
Go to the movies and get a popcorn.
You've just discovered reality,
and that requires you to participate,
and that's hard,
and many fail.
Get over it -
You can do it.
