Oh little one in my womb
How I love you!
Little life so amazing
How can you be
of anything but God Almighty!?
There's a whole world to
experience with your five little senses
The smell of honey suckle in spring time
and popcorn on family nights!
To see your loved ones and to see the world!
To hear and appreciate your first song of nature
and the sound of your mommy and daddy
telling you, "I love you"
To taste your first birthday cake and pretzel.
To feel the coolness of the ocean and the sand
between your toes,
but most of all to feel the warmth of your
family's love.

Synaesthesia
Listen to the light in all its morning glory
Cringe from the distance between this year and the last
Cower from
Sitting out on the porch
In the summer evening,
Heat pounds at skin,
And sweat trickles and tickles.
Not a single breeze stirs

WHAT MY SENSES TELL ME
I see
You in your favorite
Summer dress that
Insinuates those subtle curves

I hear
Your
Senses of love
I can see it in your eye
Everytime we say goodbye
Your eyes shine
Makes you, oh, so fine
It comes from up

Sense Able
I strained to hear the sound of dew,
To taste the color blue.
I yearned to see a scream or smell a laugh,
And touch
