Awake
The promise of tomorrow keeps us
Unaware of the day. "There's always
tomorrow,"
But is there-who knows?
Stop! Smell the flowers of life
The sound of the breeze
As it blows through the leaves.
The sunshine darts around
And touches the ground.
I feel its warmth
On my skin and on my soul.
What a beautiful autumn day
As the breeze does its sway.
So warm the sun and the
Gentle touch of the whispering wind,
As it travels from sunshine to shade
and picks up its volume
As it escapes the landing of day.
Will we sleep through the date,
Or choose to awaken before its to late?

and that I used to dream about loving you,
but I now I'm awake.
